How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Wanta Davenport is the owner and resident artist of Artistic Perceptions.
Wanta’s mother, Fernie Taite, was an artist known word wide for paintings of roses.
"Art has always been a part of my life," says Wanta Davenport. "One of my earliest memories is of my mother painting china at the kitchen table. Later, she began painting roses in oil She would give me a paint brush and canvas board so that we might paint together”
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We do not try to differentiate ourselves from other business in our category.
We are part of a the art community in the CSRA.
Art is in Wanta's blood and soul. Wanta does not feel art is a competition she paints for the pure joy of painting. if someone likes her effort she is overjoyed. Wanta understands that every one cannot like the same art if they did there would be only one painting and everyone would have a copy of it.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one wonderful location and do not have any plans to expand or add additional locations.

we are in the 500 block of Broad Street in beautiful downtown Augusta, Georgia. we are in the same block and across the street from Sidney's uniforms and Luigi's Italian Restaurant. Large sign on front of gallery the reads "ART GALLERY"
What type of payments do you accept?
We do not accept live stock but we do accept most other types of payment. cash, Credit card, and on occasions have been know to some bartering.
Which areas do you service?
We do not limit ourselves to any area. We will gladly accept orders from and ship to all 50 US States. Shipments to outside the United States can be done but or very difficult for us.
